Chloride® is proud to have been selected by Qair® to provide the backup power supply for the Hyd'Occ project.

Challenge:

The challenge was to provide a backup power solution for France's largest green hydrogen project. Since green hydrogen production is carbon-free, as it is powered by energy recovered from wind turbines, we were able to offer our low-carbon solution. In this way, we are protecting green energy with clean energy.

Results:

Full specification compliance. Chloride supplied its new range of low-carbon UPS combined with sodium batteries (SMC), a 150kVA Dual AC UPS powered by a set of 400 Vdc SMC batteries with a capacity of 1000Ah. By 2030, the unit will produce 6,000 tonnes per year for a total capacity of 50 MW.
