Chloride relocates one of its industrial production activities to its Chassieu plant!

Based in Chassieu, Chloride cemented its independence by separating from the American group Vertiv in December 2021. Taking advantage of the opportunity to rethink its operational footprint, the company made a major strategic decision to repatriate activities previously outsourced to Slovakia back to the region.

Chloride highlights the expertise of its local teams and its state-of-the-art equipment in its historic factory. Supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region through the Ambition Industrie du Futur scheme, the project includes assistance in identifying key regional partners.

Purchases are now made from local suppliers, although the company remains primarily focused on the international market. This strategic choice is motivated by the recognition of the quality of ‘Made in France’ products and growing customer demand to reduce delivery times and the carbon footprint of product transport. This reflects Chloride's commitment to meeting market expectations while contributing to regional economic development.
